Curiosity in distilling began in the metalwork shop of Tonys boarding school where he quietly constructed a still, piece by piece, hiding each one in plain sight. Using scraps from the kitchen, he fermented his first batch, a simple concoction at a modest 10% ABV, which was a hit among his fellow students.Years later and back in New Zealand, Tonys path went down sustainable engineering, until Drink Drink approached him and he was to design a still and control system that would allow for a vodka unlike any other.
The result? Vodka Vodka a spirit that captures decades of adventure, expertise and rebellious innovation. Made with single malt barley, distilled to a premium standard. This vodka has the complexity of Scotch yet the purity of vodka.
